The 1840s charm is impeccable, and I could hardly resist snapping photos of every angle while my travel buddies enjoyed the scrumptious cooked breakfast, which was packed with seasonal fruit and catered effortlessly for gluten and dairy free diets. The house is a short stroll to Kilkenny Castle, and being only 2.3 km from the renowned Smithwick's Brewery Tour, it’s perfect for any beer enthusiast looking to indulge in local flavors. What's more, each room comes equipped with modern amenities like free WiFi and a flat-screen TV, all while managing to retain that cozy, fireside feel.
